BEYOND Part I
Beyond is a photographic collection exploring hotels after their original purpose has disappeared. Empty rooms, silent corridors, closed restaurants and abandoned pools become spaces suspended between memory and decay.
Once designed for arrival, comfort and temporary encounters, these places now exist without guests. Traces of former lives remain in furniture, curtains, signs and architecture, while nature and time slowly begin to transform them.
The photographs are not documents of abandonment, but studies of absence and transition. Beyond asks what remains of a place when the people, movement and expectations that once defined it are gone.
Nature Nocturne
Frida Y. (1924- 1989) is origanally from Norway and has lived in Cape Town, Osaka and later in London. She was a light creation artist and photographer.

Tahiti & French Polynesia
Nature Nocturne brings together photographs by Frida Y. (1924–1989) made in Tahiti and across French Polynesia, including the atoll of Tetiaroa, later closely associated with Marlon Brando.
Rather than documenting the islands as tropical paradise, Y. turns toward nature after daylight begins to disappear: vegetation, water, distant horizons and traces of human presence transformed by moonlight and darkness.
The collection reflects her work as both photographer and light artist, exploring how little light is required for a landscape to remain visible—and how darkness can reveal a different sense of place.
