Dance exists before language.
A gesture, a shift of weight, a body moving through space—meaning is formed without the need to be spoken.
Within 0r3Z ballet and dance are approached not as fixed disciplines, but as living forms of transmission. Techniques may be inherited, repeated and refined, yet every body carries them differently.
Tradition becomes material.
The precision of ballet, the instinct of movement, the tension between control and release—each becomes a way of examining how knowledge travels through generations and how established forms can remain open to change.
The body functions as both archive and instrument.
It remembers structures it did not create.
It absorbs them, challenges them, transforms them.
Here, classical and contemporary practices are not positioned in opposition. They exist within the same continuum: different expressions of a language that evolves each time it is performed.
Dance is temporary by nature.
A movement disappears as soon as it happens.
What remains is its trace—
in another body, another work, another moment.
0r3Z creates a space for those traces to meet.
Not to preserve movement.
To keep it moving.
